After School Courses<\/span><\/h5>\n

The Football Development Programme <\/strong>\u00a9 hold After School Football Courses at various Primary Schools across Lancashire.<\/p>\n

After School Football Courses are available as requested are available all year round.<\/p>\n

The After School Courses will\u00a0take place either on the School field, Playground or in the School Hall (Dependant on Surface \/ Weather).<\/p>\n

* Please Note: These Courses\u00a0will most\u00a0likely be held on the School Playground, simply because of the flat, even surface the playground brings, enabling all Sessions \/ Drills \/ Ball Work to have the maximum benefit to all children involved.<\/p>\n

After School Courses are open\u00a0to either\u00a0Key Stage 2 Children ( Year 3 to Year 6 ) or Key Stage 1 Children ( Year 1 & Year 2 ).<\/p>\n

We have a minimum number of 15 children and a maximum number of 30 Children for all After School Courses.<\/p>\n

How do the Courses work?<\/span><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

4 Session\u00a0Course ( Over 2 Weeks )<\/strong>
\nMonday’s & Wednesdays\u00a0OR Tuesday’s &\u00a0Thursday’s<\/p>\n

Session 1 – 3:30pm – 4:30pm
\nSession 2 – 3:30pm – 4:30pm
\nSession 3 – 3:30pm – 4:30pm<\/div>\n
Session 4 – 3:30pm – 4:30pm<\/span><\/div>\n

Presentation will also be at around 4:15pm on Session 4<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n

    What will My Child Learn?<\/span><\/h5>\n

    The Main Aim of each Course is to Develop each Child into a Better Footballer. A Large Part of each Course is Ball work, Improving Children’s\u00a0Confidence and Ability with a Football.<\/p>\n

    All Sessions \/ Drills during the Course will range from\u00a0Passing, Dribbling, Turns,\u00a0Receiving the Ball,\u00a0Movement with and without a Football, as well as various Finishing \/ Shooting Sessions. All Children will have a Football at their feet as much as possible throughout the 4 Sessions.<\/p>\n

    We Encourage Children to keep the Ball on the Floor as much as possible, allowing them to ‘Express themselves’ with a Football.\u00a0 All Games are Small Sided Games (SSG), ranging from 3 v 3, 4 v 4 and 5 v 5.\u00a0 Limiting the Number of Players during the Game will enable Children to have more touches of the Football.\u00a0 All Sessions \/ Drills will vary Dependant on Age \/ Ability of Children on each Course.<\/p>\n

    Session 1 \/ Week 1<\/strong> –\u00a0Children will be taking part in various Sessions and Drills that incorporate Passing, Movement,\u00a0Dribbling, Turns &\u00a0First Touch.<\/p>\n

    Session\u00a02 \/ Week 2<\/strong> – Children will be taking part in various Sessions and Drills that incorporate Passing, Movement, Dribbling, Turns & First Touch.<\/p>\n

    Session\u00a03 \/ Week 3<\/strong> – Children will then take part in various Shooting \/ Finishing\u00a0Sessions.<\/p>\n

    Session\u00a04 \/ Week 4<\/strong> – Final Day which will mean Children taking part in Small Sided Games (SSG). Games will range from 3 v 3, 4 v 4 and 5 v 5.<\/p>\n

    What will My Child Receive?<\/span><\/h5>\n

    Each Child that attends the After School\u00a0Course will go home with <\/span>a Certificate of Attendance.<\/span><\/p>\n

    ‘Engraved’ Trophies<\/strong> are awarded on the Final Day to Anyone showing Significant Improvement, Ability, Effort, Behaviour \/ Listening and Willingness to Learn.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
