After School Courses

After School Courses

The After School Courses will take place either on the School field, Playground or in the School Hall (Dependant on Surface / Weather).

What will My Child Learn?

The Main Aim of each Course is to Develop each Child into a Better Footballer. A Large Part of each Course is Ball work, Improving Children’s Confidence and Ability with a Football.

All Sessions / Drills during the Course will range from Passing, Dribbling, Turns, Receiving the Ball, Movement with and without a Football, as well as various Finishing / Shooting Sessions. All Children will have a Football at their feet as much as possible throughout the 4 Sessions.

We Encourage Children to keep the Ball on the Floor as much as possible, allowing them to ‘Express themselves’ with a Football.  All Games are Small Sided Games (SSG), ranging from 3 v 3, 4 v 4 and 5 v 5.  Limiting the Number of Players during the Game will enable Children to have more touches of the Football.  All Sessions / Drills will vary Dependant on Age / Ability of Children on each Course.

Session 1 / Week 1 – Children will be taking part in various Sessions and Drills that incorporate Passing, Movement, Dribbling, Turns & First Touch.

Session 2 / Week 2 – Children will be taking part in various Sessions and Drills that incorporate Passing, Movement, Dribbling, Turns & First Touch.

Session 3 / Week 3 – Children will then take part in various Shooting / Finishing Sessions.

Session 4 / Week 4 – Final Day which will mean Children taking part in Small Sided Games (SSG). Games will range from 3 v 3, 4 v 4 and 5 v 5.
